I have HTMLViewer working, but it is overly aggressive in caching. At the moment, I am loading a gif file (not an HTML page). I change the gif file on the web server, but the HTMLViewer stubbornly displays the old image. Quitting and re-running my app does not fix the problem. Rebuilding the app in REAL Studio does not fix the problem. (a) Is there a way to make the HTMLViewer flush its cache? (b) If not, where is this cache being stored? Perhaps I can delete the cache files programmatically. I don't see any method listed in the Language Reference that suggests it might purge the cache. There is mention in the forums in 2005 of a feature request to force a "Reload" to purge the cache. Did that ever happen? _________________ --Basil Bourque (Using REAL Studio 2010 release 2 with REAL Server 2009r1.2 on Mac OS X 10.6.2 & .3) Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 1 post ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
