Location: Seattle-area Is there a way to purge the cache of the
HTMLViewer class?

I have HTMLViewer working, but it is overly aggressive in caching.

At the moment, I am loading a gif file (not an HTML page). I change the gif
file on the web server, but the HTMLViewer stubbornly displays the old image.
Quitting and re-running my app does not fix the problem. Rebuilding the app in
REAL Studio does not fix the problem.

(a) Is there a way to make the HTMLViewer flush its cache?

(b) If not, where is this cache being stored? Perhaps I can delete the cache
files programmatically.

I don't see any method listed in the Language Reference that suggests it might
purge the cache.

There is mention in the forums in 2005 of a feature request to force a "Reload"
to purge the cache. Did that ever happen?
