Posts: 23 I am using RS 2010r4 on Windows XP, running under
VMWare Fusion on a Mac, and attempting a remote debug session under OSX 10.6.4
on the same Mac. The application gets properly copied to the Mac OS and
launched, but I am getting a the dialog box with the following message:

Quote:Runtime Error

Location: DebuggerSupport.cpp
Failure Condition: Could not locate the target IDE for debugging.
Failure Message: Since we could not locate the target IDE to start a debugging
session, this application will now exit.

Please report what caused this error along with all of the details above.

Does any one have a clue as to what might be causing this error? I did nothing
but attempt to launch a remote debugging session.
