Location: CA I'm not a Mac person but have have been wanting to
get acquainted with it

I was offered a chance by a friend to buy his MBP 17

2.5 Dual Core 2

4GB RAM

250 GB HD

512MB GeForce 8600M GT Graphics Card

Said he has the Original Box BUT no Documentation...He lost the restore disk

Wants 1,300.00 USD

Ive googled and researched....
Seems to be a good deal......

What do you experienced Mac users think?

I need to let him know soon

What else should I ask him?

TIA

depreciate quickly, even with Macs. Macs are generally trouble-free but laptops
tend to see more abuse, so ask if the computer comes with AppleCare (extended
warranty).

Hi brisance,

I verified that the MBP still has 6 months of Apple Care

He gave me the serial and I checked on apples website to verify
