After a few days of coding i whipped this up. Not sure what i will do with it so "the demo" expires 1/20/2011. I would appreciate any input, good or bad, and any attempts at breaking it would be appreciated. Thanks! Check it out here at a quick site i made for it. AlarmFoo _________________ Xport 0.6.2 SpeakEasy 1.0 Top ZULU Post subject: Re: Review My App(beta) .Good until 1/20/2011Posted: Fri Jan 14, 2011 1:51 am Joined: Mon Jul 31, 2006 1:44 am Posts: 1190 Window Set Alarm 1) On Mac mostly buttons is bottom/right aligned in the window here is just the opposite. 2) When open the Window the standard on Macintosh is that the text-box get focus and the text is selected so it is just to begin type to change the text, but in this window it do not works in that way. 3)TAB order, there is some strange (bug) the tab order works for the date and time settings and the focus went back to the YR filed after the AM popup menu, but if you do that 10 times it continue with Sound ⦠â¦. ⦠Here you really need to check whats going on and correct it. 4) No Cancel button?? 5) A Window with the red close widget at the top/left should also give the possibility to close using cmd-W Window Preferences 1) Resize Window issue, resize the window using the resize widget at the bottom/right. 2) The ZIP text-box don't get focus and is not selected to allow changes directly. 3) TAB order, here is also an issue, check it out and the color buttons can't get focus? 4) Save button on the left⦠why?? On Mac the button like that is right aligned on the window. 5) Preference window normally don't have Save buttons, the changes is saved when the window is closed. 6) The Windows could not be closed using cmd-W 7) Font Color bug: I clicked on the Font Color and the Color Picker appear, then I do an *Cancel* in the color picker, the Font Color button was colored white, the same with the Background Color button. About Window 1) Why not an About Window?
