I'm not a programmer, I don't know anything about programming. But I really need a small software. The software already exists, but unfortunately only for Windows. The software is perfect for me, and now I need it for Mac OSX. I have the Windows-Source Code (!). Is there any way to "transform" this code to real studio and generate a Mac Version of this programm? You can take a look at : http://www.dj-workstation.de/ Here you can find the program (Version 0.5.3), and the source code for windows. My english ist not good, so I hope, you can understand, what I want. I need exactly this DJW Software for Mac, with the same functions, the same Database-System. Not less, and not more. So, what do I have to do? A nice side-effect is that you learn something for life Alex Top wireless-dj Post subject: Re: general questionPosted: Fri Mar 04, 2011 3:51 am Joined: Fri Mar 04, 2011 1:20 am Posts: 4 Hi Alex, Thank you for your answer. Your first idea is possible, and the best, I think, because I don't have much time to learn coding. But I don't know, how much I have to pay for something like this.... What do you think? Any idea? Your answer sounds, that it is not possible to "transform" code... ?!?!? The second.... you are right, but I have to learn from zero, and I need this software this year... I will try to get to the german forum, and see, what is possible. Thank you!!! But it's not, so - no. You'd need to develop it from scratch. Alex Last edited by alexvs on Fri Mar 04, 2011 4:51 am, edited 1 time in total.
