I had originally hoped to deploy it on Windows, Macintosh, and Linux. In the proof of concept work, I found myself adding code to babysit the rendering in the Linux version, and (not so much) the Windows version for <= Windows 2003. Now I've got the game basically working, BUT, the Linux version is rendering so slowly that it is unusable. On <= Windows 2003, it renders slowly, but is still usable. On any Macintosh, and Windows 7, it works GREAT. My request for advice is this, I'll probably be able to count on my fingers and toes how many Linux versions of this game that I'll sell, and I have problems with the concept of lavishing code on the game to support <= Windows 2003. Do you think that I should just say the system requirements are Windows 7, and OSX, and wrap this game up?? _________________ /r -Jeff Hendrickson Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 1 post ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
