Realbasic is the language being used and RealStudio is the Development Suite which helps you develop apps in Realbasic. _________________ RealStudio 2011R1 â¡ Macbook Pro Mac OS X 10.6.6 http://www.batchimage.com http://www.completemagic.com Top Markus Winter Post subject: Re: REALBasic and REALStudio questionPosted: Sun Mar 20, 2011 4:48 am Joined: Sun Feb 19, 2006 4:00 pm Posts: 839 Location: Heidelberg, Germany REALbasic is the language - REAL Studio is the app you use to write REALbasic apps. There are controls and functions in the current editions of REAL Studio that do not exist in older versions, such as TextArea and some file I/O functions. If the REAL Studio project uses those, it will not be usable in an older version that doesn't have them.
