I've tried using LIMIT in my SQL query, and that limits the results as expected, but the report has a varying amount of body items under each group header. This means that the report may print 5 group headers in the report, or may only print 1, and as the body and group header are different heights, the result set can still overflow the page, or may not use all the page. Is anyone aware of a way to tell the report to print only one page instead of simply going onto the next page? Thanks for your help. After all, if the first item has more sub items than will fit on one page, you can't limit the report to less than one. If the report has that much data to show, throwing away all but the first page sounds odd to me. Are you trying to give the user an 'idea' of what the report looks like? If so, why not assemble a set of 'demonstration' data that fills the page nicely, and use that instead of real data in these circumstances?
