Posts: 35 I have a simlpe list box that I want to highligh a
single line in it. (just as if I had clicked on the line) from another section
of the program

I have tried something like this:

lstSelectedMovies.ListIndex = intLineToBeHighlighted

but it doesn't work.

I can do this and get the data at that line:

lstSelectedMovies.ListIndex = intLineToBeHighlighted
strAA = lstSelectedMovies.List(lstSelectedMovies.ListIndex)

and get the data at that line. But the line is not highlighted.

I'm sure there is a simple way to do this but my search of this forum did not
give me what I wanted or gave me too much.

Any help will be appricated

Thanks
Dave

Location: Portland, OR USA That certainly should work. Perhaps
you are doing something else in your code that is preventing it. Make a small
project to test just that functionality. You should see that it works. Then
work backward into your code. (If it doesn't work in a small project, then file
a bug report.)
