(just as if I had clicked on the line) from another section of the program I have tried something like this: lstSelectedMovies.ListIndex = intLineToBeHighlighted but it doesn't work. I can do this and get the data at that line: lstSelectedMovies.ListIndex = intLineToBeHighlighted strAA = lstSelectedMovies.List(lstSelectedMovies.ListIndex) and get the data at that line. But the line is not highlighted. I'm sure there is a simple way to do this but my search of this forum did not give me what I wanted or gave me too much. Any help will be appricated Thanks Dave _________________ I'm using windows 7 (64 bit) and Real Studio 2010,r5 (Romans 10:9-10) Top timhare Post subject: Re: Highlighting a line in a listboxPosted: Wed Apr 20, 2011 2:22 pm Joined: Fri Jan 06, 2006 3:21 pm Posts: 9706 Location: Portland, OR USA That certainly should work. Perhaps you are doing something else in your code that is preventing it. Make a small project to test just that functionality. You should see that it works. Then work backward into your code. (If it doesn't work in a small project, then file a bug report.)
