I can fiddle my way through the example that comes with Real, and I understand how to send a single email. My question is what about wait times for sends? The example only sends the one email, if I have 2000 to send do I need to wait somewhere? Do I just loop through them all appending them to socket1 then walk away from the computer until they have all been sent ? Any insight would be appreciated. If you want to implement a wait, catch the MailSent event and start a timer that will initiate the next one. But worse, if you hit enough people in the same target domain, you can be flagged as a spammer and your subsequent emails will be rejected. 2000 isn't a lot, though. You may find it easier to use a specialist site such as NewZapp, who allow you to format the content up, check for 'spamminess', and monitor 'optout' responses so as to remove people from the mailing list. They aren't the only people who do this, the prices aren't too bad, and if anything went wrong, it's not your domain that looks bad.
