Posts: 745 So, I'm still learning about SQLite, Recordsets,
Tables and Relationships. I've been tinkering with a listbox that gets
populated from a recordset and transparently saves data changes back to the
table through the recordset using: rs.edit, rs.update and db.commit commands.

All works fine when dealing with a single table. Now I am tinkering with a
simple join of two tables. The recordset gets populated and, therefore, the
listbox gets populated correctly BUT . . . . the transparent save doesn't work
when the recordset is built on a JOIN of two tables.

My guess is that it has something to do with how the tables were initially
setup. That is to say that the database has no specific relational or
referential commands attached to it to identify which tables are related. As
mentioned above, the JOIN works fine for populating the recordset/listbox.
Just doesn't work when saving back to the database.

So, my question is . . . am I thinking right. Do I need to run an SQL command
to setup some kind of permenant referential integrity between the two tables?

Any comments would be appreciated.
