Posts: 284 I am trying to use the "beforeprint" method of a
field on my report to keep something from printing.

It appears that if you use the following code to see what the value of the
field that will print, it is actually looking at the PREVIOUS record rather
than the current record.

if me.text = "Omaha" then

If I step through this line on the first record, me.text = text rather than the
actual value of the field (city in this case). On the 2nd iteration, me.text
will display the contents of the actual field. Consequently, if you try to use
this to control what prints and what doesn't, you find that the next record
rather than the current will be controlled.

Any one else using this method to control what prints?
