Posts: 320 I do most of my development in OS X with virtually no
IDE problems, but frequently have trouble with the project files in the Windows
IDE.

In Windows Vista, the IDE crashes frequently with an unspecified runtime error
when I attempt to run the debugger. The feedback tool always shows the error
as, "compiler failed assertion at codestorage.cpp:226," but I never can submit
a feedback report because the feedback tool is never able to connect to the
feedback server.

In Windows 7, the debugger works on the same project file that crashes it in
Windows Vista, but I am currently unable to do a Mac build with the
MySQLCommunityPlugin because it apparently can't build the Mac library files,
which causes it to generate a bunch of error messages and then crash with an
unspecified runtime error.

If I do a Windows build from the project file in the Mac IDE the app runs
flawlessly in both Windows Vista and Windows 7.

What is the secret to getting the Windows IDE to work as well as the Mac IDE?
