Posts: 27 Hello, i need to compile a RB program that contains 15
(200 X 200) pixel png images that will display in a canvas. These are not
allowed to be accessible to anyone due to copyright & usage laws so they have
to be bundled in the program when it compiles. I need 2 buttons so the user
can either move to the next picture in the list of 15, or to the previous
picture in the list. How can i accomplish this ? anyone have an idea ?
thanks

Location: San Diego, CA you do realize that even "bundling" the
images in the compiled app does not protect them from being extracted?

ESPECIALLY if it is a MAC OSX app....

15 images 200x200 is a small amount..... just drag them into your project like
any other image.

Your only other recourse is to encrypt the images in your bundle, then decrypt
them in memory.... but screen shots are easy to do as well.

Posts: 27 Hi , yeah, drag them into my app is what i meant. I
was able to get it working like this:

 module property      names(3) as picture

window property    i as integer = 0

open event of window
           names(0) = apple
           names(1) = battery
           names(2) = banana
           names(3) = book
           canvas1.backdrop = names(i)

pushbutton
           if I < 3 then
          i = i + 1
            else
            i = 0
            end
canvas1.backdrop = names(i)

the apple, battery, banana and book are the 4 pictures dragged into my app. So
it just keeps cycling thru as i click so apparently this will work just fine,
unless there is a reason i should do it differently. They can still be
extracted like this ??? I licensed these thru a photo licensing site and they
can't be available for extraction from software programs. Thanks for chiming in
so quick, i appreciate the help!
