It's a bit more involved than I'm used to, as far as databases are concerned. I've written classes which wrap the SQL side of things and gives me objects containing row values in turn, so I can keep in my happy little OOP world. Initially I just had a table base class, and a subclass for each respective table â handling queries, insertion, editing, etc. But I've run into the issue that I ought to incorporate Views to provide me with generational integrity (i.e. database structure changes over time) and handling multi-table querying for me. What I'm thinking of doing is separating my Table classes to purely handle insertion, and allow my Views to handle queries â either can edit. Outside of being fancy, I understand most Pg programmers use Views purely for querying, using the base tables for insertion. My open question is if someone has dealt with Views/Tables in the past and can offer insight on how they accomplished the task. Thanks! _________________ Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Windows XP Pro SP3 Ubuntu 11.04 via Virtual Box RS Enterprise 2011r4 Programming Tutorials & Free Projects: http://www.JasonTheAdams.com "Christianity has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and not tried." - G.K.
