Everything seemed fine in Firefox 12.0 on Mac OS X 10.6.8. When I switched to Safari 5.1.7, I noticed the page never finished loading -- a spinning "gear" at the end of the URL field + the status bar reporting "Loading 'full url', completed 17 of 18 items." When I clicked the "x" button (in the URL field) to stop loading the page, the status bar directed me to the Activity window for details. These two lines seem to be the problem: http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/URLmanager/urlmanager.cgi/B80FDFC8F81356BC30BC763944FF8B13/comm/push 0 bytes of ? http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/URLmanager/urlmanager.cgi/B80FDFC8F81356BC30BC763944FF8B13/comm/push canceled Two /comm/event/ files were successfully loaded. When I reloaded the page, the same thing happened, with "B80FDFC8F81356BC30BC763944FF8B13" replaced by "19431DF9F805E8AF236CE4605A982953". Is this due to a coding error on my part? a Real Studio bug? a Safari bug? a Web server bug? something else? I left the Safari window open while composing this post. After 5-10 minutes, the Safari window changed to a big caution icon + "The application has gone off-line. If I rember correctly, It is a known issue with safari. Its not a bug in RS but Safari doing something not coorect? The spinning loading wheel is just safaris way of showing it The string that changes on load/reload is your session ID.
