Basically I have a menu across the top of the page which is just an array of webimages. On MouseOver I set an animator to raise the icon 10px and on MouseExit drop back 10px. The raising happens more rapidly than the dropping. // Placed in MouseOver event Animator1.Move(me, me.Left,0, 0.10) Animator1.Play // Placed in MouseExit event Animator1.Move(me, me.Left,10, 0.25) Animator1.Play Quite often when you leave the icon (quickly or not) with the mouse, the icon will stay raised. Would this be due to using 0.10 or is there something I am missing here? I have tried 0.5 seconds but this is a little slow for user interaction - and its still stays raised sometimes. I have only tried it under run, I have not compiled and tested on a server yet. I also tried MouseMove but that was just too clunky and I cant see why the above is seemingly buggy. _________________ Regards Chris Musty Specialised Technologies Pty Ltd Software | Electronics | IT http://www.specialised.net.au ----------------------------------------------- Latest RB Enterprise on Win 7 Ultimate, Ubuntu 12.04 Turnkey Linux Appliances on Amazon Web Services = unbelievably easy to deploy appliances. If I drag the mouse to fast out of the meny, it stays expanded. It works even worse when deployed.. This is my Expand code: Animator1.Move(btnHome, btnHome.Left, btnHome.Top + 70, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnNetwork, btnHome.Left, btnNetwork.Top + 130, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnProject, btnHome.Left, btnProject.Top + 190, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnQC, btnHome.Left, btnQC.Top + 250, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnAbout, btnHome.Left, btnAbout.Top + 310, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnLogout, btnHome.Left, btnLogout.Top + 370, 0.2) Animator1.RotateZ(btnMain, 180, 0.2) Animator1.Play And collapse code: Animator1.Move(btnHome, btnHome.Left, btnHome.Top - 70, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnNetwork, btnHome.Left, btnNetwork.Top - 130, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnProject, btnHome.Left, btnProject.Top - 190, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnQC, btnHome.Left, btnQC.Top - 250, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnAbout, btnHome.Left, btnAbout.Top - 310, 0.2) Animator1.Move(btnLogout, btnHome.Left, btnLogout.Top - 370, 0.2) Animator1.RotateZ(btnMain, -360, 0.2) Animator1.Play _________________ Dev. iMac 27" + 2x22" LG (2.8GHz Intel Core i7, 12GB RAM, 120GB SSD) OS X 10.7 Using Subversion on a Synology DS409+ REAL.Studio Web Edition 2011r3 Top Specialised Post subject: Re: MouseExit and AnimatorPosted: Mon May 14, 2012 12:56 am Joined: Thu Aug 26, 2010 6:57 am Posts: 410 Location: Sydney Australia OK so are we talking bug here? What have you done to combat this? Not exactly a show stopper but kinda annoying. Looking into feedback to see if anyone has added this... _________________ Regards Chris Musty Specialised Technologies Pty Ltd Software | Electronics | IT http://www.specialised.net.au ----------------------------------------------- Latest RB Enterprise on Win 7 Ultimate, Ubuntu 12.04 Turnkey Linux Appliances on Amazon Web Services = unbelievably easy to deploy appliances. I was thinking it could have something to do with latency maybe?
