I have 2 listbox's and I will perform many similar instructions depending on which one is selected. Rather than duplicate the logic for 2 of them, I was hoping to determine which listbox they are using and put that name in a holder area such as "ListName". This is a very basic example of what I am trying to do. dim ListName as ???? If App.TableName = "N" then ListName = Names else ListName = Business End if Msgbox str(Listname.Listcount) As I said, I know this is simple but I cannot find the solution. Thanks as always for any help. _________________ Larry6295 Professional 2011 R4.3 Windows 7 64 bit HP Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 1 post ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
