Posts: 31 In order to get the Sha1 Hash of a string I use to do
the following:

cmd="echo " + string +" | openssl sha1"
Shell1.Execute(cmd)
textField1.Text=Shell1.Result

I would appreciate some help for the same procedure in Windows

I run RS 2011 ver 4.3

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA                There's a cross-platform SHA1
implementation in RB here: http://www.declaresub.com/article/132/sha1-update

Posts: 31 I will try your suggestion. It seems to be a good
option as a cross-platform solution.
Thanks charonn0
