To make this possible i do that: 1. Create a file in the temporary folder with GetTemporaryFolderItem 2. Adding this file to a DragItem so that the user can drag it to the Finder Do you thing that works with sandboxed apps? I could not test this, because a Cocoa bug for DragItems that will be fixed in the next beta prevented me from doing this. I even don't know if the used temp folder is inside or outside of the sandbox.
