For example, given returned mac address of 00:30:67:5F:FC:A9 I need to convert that to: 207892774057 I tried: dim mac2hex as String ="&h" + ReplaceAll(App.MAC_address, ":", "") dim mac2int as Int64 = Val( "&h" + mac2hex ) But that resulted in 1734343849 which is not the correct integer value for my needs. I'm working with RB 2008 release 4.2 and yes, I know it's somewhat old.
