Posts: 219 Box2D is a free open source 2-dimensional physics
simulator engine written in C++ by Erin Catto and published under the zlib
license. I've been learning about it from using the Cocos2d game engine in
Xcode.

I thought it might be fun to try and port the code to REALbasic. Frankly, I'm
not sure if this exists or not but that's OK with me ...
Code and projects are not ready to be released, but thought I might show what I
have up to this point. I took a step back and decided to try and port the lite
version first. Even though this framework is primarily used in a game
environment, it has been adapted to many other uses. Do a Google search for
more info ...

This is my blog entry. It gives a brief description and shows a brief movie of
the project running.

Uses OpenGL for now to draw and if anyone has the ported function
glutBitmapCharacter(void *font, int character) working please post it here!
I've tried it a hundred ways to Sunday with no love .... Thank you
