Posts: 157 I'm having this issue with emails timing out and
bringing my program to a halt. Since it's set to deliver several dozen emails
at once, this is a problem since I come back and it's stopped halfway through.

Could someone explain to me why emails time-out like this? Is this just a basic
internet issue at their end and likely to happen every now and then (it does
only happen to the odd one out of the bunch). What's happening when my program
times out like this, is the email being sent at all? My program is set to
delete the files required for the email after sending, but I'm guessing it
needs to only delete them after a successful send?

How can I make my program check for a failed send... or more relevantly, a
successful one (because that's when I can delete the files I guess). And how
can I make sure my program keeps processing the next in the queue, even if this
happens? Or should it try again with the same email?
