Posts: 1 I was looking into the files of a program I recently
downloaded for Cloud Storage. I noticed it was using a SQLite database and dug
deeper into the logs and found references to RealBasic "[Id 9159 - REALBasic
Code]"

Her is the whole line in thier log file:
2012-08-30 01:55:25.877 - Info - Cubby - CFSStoragePeer - -
SynchronizeTransactions UploadQueue versions
[CFSStoragePeer::SynchronizeTransactions:593]:
network: [Id 9159 - REALBasic Code] : 1261793325
network: [Id 24276 - My Cubby] : 1145767521

As you can see a few words in the message that it is the LogMeIn Cubby Cloud
Storage Client for Windows.

Thought I would pass it on if some people like to know where RealBasic is being
used.

Location: San Diego, CA I kind have a feeling there are 10's of
thousands of other RealStudio apps out there..... fact is most customers don't
care what it is written in... as long as it performs the tasks required.

Posts: 102 I have also experienced finding several RealStudio
apps in the wild like this by accident when investigating them further
sometimes. So yea, like Dave says, I too suspect the amount of apps made in
RealStudio are considerable. Almost no developers actually mention what tools
they use to make software.

I would not be surprised to find quite a few RealStudio apps already released
and being popular on Mac App Store too.

Posts: 267 How to find out on mac:

1. Right click app
2. Open bundle
3. Go to Contents>Framework
4. You have a list of all frameworks; they should begin with REAL (or at least
some of them)

Oh, dont think it works in console

But... if LogMeIn is a RS app, why is it a single executable?
