Using the scrollbars seems top work pretty well... but trackpad gestures (two finger scrolling) which seemed to work fine for me under 2011 R3 is now suffering when subjected to a somewhat large numbers of rows. I have approximately 800 rows in my weblistbox -- which is more than I'd like. 40 rows works great... 200 rows seems to work pretty well....800 rows...now it's pretty much toast. It's strange. I can make several scroll down gestures and the weblistbox seems frozen...then after a few seconds it will snap to the position indicated by all my motionless scrolling. I can click on the scroll bars and scrub through them lightning fast...so it doesn't seem like it's the ability to update the control quickly. Strange. It may (?) have something to do with the inertia scrolling mechanism. I can't think of any site I've seen that allows for that.
