Location: Santa Ynez, CA I am trying to figure out when a
property should be a session property and when it can be a webpage or container
property. I wrote my app with many container properties, then became concerned
that if a second user were to change the value of one of the container
properties, it would have the new value when the first user updated another
part of his screen. This does not seem to happen and I am wondering why. And
if it works this way, why do I even need to worry about a session?

I am thinking that some of the code may be executing in javascript so the
session on the server is not a consideration, but I have no idea what happens
on the server and what happens in the browser. Looking at the page source in
the browser is no help, at least not to me.

I have seen a couple posts concerning the need to put webfiles somewhere so
they will persist long enough to for the download to complete. Session, webpage
or container are suggested as suitable locations. Are there any factors that
would make one preferable to another, such as multiple users downloading pdfs
of invoices at the same time using the same container.webfile?
