Location: Cincinnati, OH I have a window that scrolls four
canvases at different speeds. I have timers to do this. The problem I'm
having is that as more text is drawn into each canvas the slower it gets. I'm
sure there's a better way to do this. Is it possible to have timers in
threads? I'm thinking that if the window could just do the drawing and the
threads handle the logic that might be better. Am I on the right track? Is
there a better solution?

Location: San Diego, CA sure... keep a static PICTURE
object..... add the text to IT outside the canvas PAINT event

Inside the Canvas Paint Event draw ONLY the part of the PICTURE object you want
to scroll
