Posts: 1 I'm trying to see if RB can meet my needs, a few simple
questions could save me a lot of time!

1) Is a RB license a developer license? I develop custom solutions and install
ALL tools needed to develop and debug a solution on the target production
machine(s) so they are always ready for use in the correct versions,
configurations etc. Would an Enterprise license cover this?

2) Is it possible to run RbScripts in a standalone thread, i.e. can I invoke
scripts which run async?

3) Is access to Rb variable thread safe, or is it possible to access a common
class with thread aware wrappers so 'global' data can be accessed from any
thread?

If anyone can answer these it would be a great help as the answer to 1 is not
clear, and the other 2 could be quite difficult to evaluate properly (i.e.
'doable' can also be 'not reccomended' ! ).

Thanks in advance for any knowledge!
