I'm trying to build a filmarchive for my company, and I have a few questions.
The system will consist of two mac pro's. Database is Valentina.
One mac pro will run the Valentina database only. (For keeping the speed up)
The second mac pro, which has 4 ethernet ports extra, will serve as a
web-server and web-client server.

The client goes to the sec.mac and start the web-client on IP 1
The client ueses the first mac for database

Now when the web-client starts to stream the videofiles in webplayer, it will
get it from sec.mac IP 2.

So, is the video stream from IP2 to my own client or is the video streaming
through the web-client (web-app) ?

I need to know this, because if I'm going to deploy this for the outside, I'll
need to know how many static/open IP's to get for the system to work.

If all goes from the web-client running on the sec.macpro IP1, and this one
just route everything, it's fine.... One IP from the outside. If not, do I need
to get all IP on the inside available from the outside ?

Right now I'm testing it with VPN. But I'll not give our customers a VPN login

any ideas ?
