Location: New York City We are currently working on a project
that has some extensive requirements that we feel RealBasic may be able to
provide us a solution. We have been trying to develop some form of framework
for six months and would like to extend the functionality and open source the
core functionality to the RB community...

I have created a Google Doc with more of the details:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-dkCL8XJ8LG1LEFGEsPYCM0E9-xR2nqXhWPWplJtITg/edit

Any feedback or helpful comment would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Todd

Location: Netherlands Interesting toughts.

One thing is that you need it "offline" but a web app can be used locally as
well
It can run as a service in windows and as a deamon on linux/mac.
That can be called by the user locally in a browser.

Are you looking for something that truely outputs html/js/css to deploy
anywhere (or even in a RS Desktop app RealGap?)

Location: New York City Yes, I would not be interested in all of
the trouble that it takes to have different UIs. Not only in development, but
also support. That is why we selected Responsive HTML as our UI "View". Design
once once and deploy everywhere. But you need the wrappers if you want to get
on the App Stores.

Also, we are utilizing HTML5 databases for our projects. Most browsers will
give you 5MB. Some will ask the users if it is OK to create a local DB.
