However, if I try the following: Dim myplace as folderitem myplace = New folderitem( "\\myserver\myshare\mysubfolder" ) The above works just fine (for all subfolders of the share). Am I missing something? I did not research my problem as carefully as I should have. I am not having any problem with New FolderItem returning a Nil object. The real problem is that when testing myplace.exists, it is coming up False when it should return True.
