Posts: 31 I would love to read a discussion (or an article in RS
Developer) regarding general discussions for getting our apps as ready as
possible for iOS builds (hopefully) next year. I don't think for one second
that we could just build for iOS from a current codebase but I'm still
interested in general strategies for designing our code for this end goal.

For example, I'm starting work on my next Mac app this week and it's occurred
to me that it might make a great iPad app down the line. So, I'm wondering if I
should adjust some things from the start. For example - how can I best untangle
code (such as methods) from windows? Or should I even try?

If you start by factoring out the user interface from the processing logic -
much as you'd have to do for web edition - you'll be in about the best position
you can be since the "guts" of your app wont have any direct ties to specific
UI presentation.

That should at least make that code really reusable.
