I'm designing an online questionnaire with a lot of ratings. Subjects see about
50 statements and have to rate each statement using a WebRadioGroup. I placed
all the statements and RadioGroups on a Webcontainer (scrollbarsvisible =
automatic) and embedded it along with some other controls in another
'lockhorizontal'-Webcontainer on the mail window.

All this works very fine. The controls are nicely arranged and the WebContainer
with the statements and ratings shows up with a vertical scrollbar and enables
the user to scroll to the end of the statement list.

BUT there is one big problem: in OSX 10.8 and iOS scrollbars are not shown all
the time by default but only if the user starts scrolling. When the
WebContainer comes up the scrollbars are not visible (unless the user changes
the system preferences), so some users might not even notice that there are
more statements to rate than the few ones they can see on startup and that they
can scroll down. Changing the webcontainer's scrollbarvisible property to
'always' doesn't change this behaviour.

I see two solutions:

1. Force MacOS and iOS to show a scrollbar all the time, regardless of the
System Preferences.
2. Scroll the content of the the WebContainer by code as the user clicks the
last visible rating.

Is there a way to realize one of this with RS 2012.R1.1? Or is there even a
better way to manage the problem?

Greetings,
Christoph
