I'm writing a program that communicates with a website. (www.1945mf.com) now I need to make a part where users can send mp3 files to the server who will but it on the website I know the part how to add it on the website, but the most difficult part is to make this canvas control what I want, but not really necessary, is to read the wave pattern from the mp3 file to a picture. this I want to use for the canvas control so that users can make chapters with it. 2nd and most important, I need to check the mp3 bit-rate, and change it if necessary. Can anyone tell me how to do this, or if there are 3rd party addon's that can do it? Thanks _________________ For great Music got to my podcast Website!!! http://podcast.1945mf-china.com Top swort Post subject: Re: Need help with MP3 files (Bitrate and wave pattern)Posted: Tue Nov 06, 2012 8:40 am Joined: Mon May 31, 2010 5:35 am Posts: 2217 Location: Netherlands Interesting to see code how to draw a waveform or equalizer (visual, dynamic). I think this is been posted before by myself. Don't know if the answer was there.. _________________ SWORT⢠- Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux Mint 11 and Mac OSX Lion - REAL Studio Enterprise(latest) and WEB Edition(latest) - Plugins (MBS Complete, ToringoLib, Einhugur, VanHoek + Some open source plugins) For Dutch User Groups ask me to enter! I have code for reading waveforms but it's mac only declares. Is it the top wave or the bottom wave you're after? The bit-rate I'm not sure about, there might be a declare for it, I only get the sample rate. Do you mean you want to re-encode the mp3? The declares are for making spectrograms:) Top basestring Post subject: Re: Need help with MP3 files (Bitrate and wave pattern)Posted: Tue Nov 06, 2012 5:48 pm Joined: Sat May 28, 2011 11:28 pm Posts: 113 Location: Beijing China doofus wrote:basestring wrote:what I want, but not really necessary, is to read the wave pattern from the mp3 file to a picture. this I want to use for the canvas control so that users can make chapters with it. 2nd and most important, I need to check the mp3 bit-rate, and change it if necessary.
