Posts: 180 Hello - I understand that online help for VBA with
regards to the ExcelApplication Object is provided by Microsoft Office. I could
not find adequate information on their site and I do apologize if this question
is beyond the scope of this forum.

Here's my problem and thanks in advance for any help or insight anyone can
provide. My code:
dim excel as new ExcelApplication
dim book as ExcelWorkbook
dim sheet as ExcelWorksheet

excel.visible=true

when I run this code (by pushing the pushbutton in which it is written) I get
an OLEException. Can someone help me track down the source of the OLEException?
Perhaps the Excel application that is installed on my computer (MacBook, btw)
must be in a certain location (it is in /Applications/Microsoft\ Office\
2008/).
