Location: Australia                My project throws up a compiler error but 
only when it compiles for Mac. If I agree to the prompt to continue the 
resulting program seems to run fine.
It only does it with the Mac compile.
How do I track down where the error is?

Probably in the Build Automation->Mac OS X section on the project tab.

The IDE can have platform-specific build automation in the form of RBScripts. 
Error 31 has to do with calling a function without handling the return value. 
Errors on line 0 tend to be syntax errors on line 1 (YMMV). It may also be that 
the project file has minor damage (e.g. some exotic character got inserted as a 
Mac-only build-time script.)

Added script in Mac Build Automation to codesign and forgot all about it. 
Obviously it doesn't work.
Removed it and all OK now.
