Posts: 218                On Mac OS X there is the one menu bar and you can 
place code for the menu items in the control/window/application objects to get 
as global as you need.. On Windows and Linux, my menu items work fine if the 
main window is the active window, but they refuse to work if another window is 
active..

Menu Item:  EditPreferences
Key Command: CMD+,  /  CTRL+,

Menu handler has been assigned to the Application object.
Menu has only been assigned to a single window, the other windows do not have a 
menu bar.
