I would like a user to be able to select a 'save to' folder via UI dialog - got this bit - but then thereafter, as I loop through a piece of logic, I'd like to store other information in the same folder, obviously using different filenames, without prompting the user to confirm each time. I feel this should be easy, but how do I use the same FolderItem over and over, but change the filename I want to save to each time? Any pointers appreciated! Use its Parent to get the enclosing folder, and Child to get another folderitem in that folder. dim f2 as FolderItem f2 = f.Parent.Child("foo.txt") Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 2 posts ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
