Location: Quebec City (Canada) Hello,
It’s possible to write directly in a table without an elaborated form?
For example:
I have a lookup table “tblStatus“ and I need to write some rows.
1 – N/A
2 – Open
3 – Close
4 - …
I can design a listbox to view all data and two textfields to write code and
description. A button to confirm insert, a button to confirm update, etc.
Too long for a simple table…
With Ms Access I can use a command from menu to open directly the table and
manage the rows.
It’s possible with RS?
Thanks.

DataControl.

This is not a recommended means of handling databases, but it is available.

Hope this helps.

with VB.
With Access I can call a command that open a table in a grid similar to MS
Excel. In the grid I can write, update, delete, filter and sort data without
write code and design a form.
