Location: United Kingdom This is probably a dumb question but is
it possible to debug console applications in the IDE? I've only ever written
GUI apps and controls but am working on a console app for Mac/Linux. Whenever
I try to run my (very simple) test console app the IDE hangs, breakpoints don't
execute and the whole thing is a bit of a disaster. Am I doing something
really fundamentally wrong or can console apps not be debugged?

Location: Portland, OR USA You should be able to debug console
apps just like any other app. I've never had a problem with it.

Just tried one. Put some code in app.Run, set a breakpoint and hit Run. It
stopped at the breakpoint and allowed me to step through the code.
