However, I'm not sure if I understand the entire process, so perhaps someone more experienced can answer my questions: So far, I found two solutions: 1. From http://www.realsoftwareblog.com/2012/08 ... ps-on.html : Is it correct that there is nothing else required than an Apple Developer membership to sign OS X apps ? Or is it still necessary to buy a third party code signing certificate from an issuer ? I guess that this way is working for OS X only and the Apple certificate can't be used to sign Windows apps (well, it's worth to try asking ? 2. From http://support.realsoftware.com/listarc ... 01012.html : Basically I would prefer to go that way. While it seems to be more expensive, it also covers the Windows platform. But is this guide from 2010 still valid ? As far as I understood, this allows code signing apps for OS X and Windows. How about signing Unix/Linux apps ?
