New topic: sockets and public ip not working

They work fine with local ip. But as soon as I change the socket address to my public ip, the client does not connect to the server. I did open the correct port on my router to forward it to the server (and checked that the port was open with http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/). Is there something I am missing, any hint? Thank you for your help.
