This works perfectly well, however I have a problem with fonts in desktop vs. console version of the app. A few notes: - measurements of objects in xml are in cm and I am creating a picture with 300 dpi so calculation to pixels is done correctly - font point size is converted according to the scale of the image which also works correct (however with different scale factor for desktop and console app) - output on various platforms is completely the same Differences I see in the output: - font size: scaling factor is different in console and desktop app (seems like desktop would have 72 dpi and console 96 dpi) - when comparing the output font on desktop application the character spacing and line spacing differs a lot - compared to photoshop image with same pixel size image and font size, the desktop app seems to be accurate, the output from console app is wrong I am using an external module to create pictures that is same in both apps so code used is the same. The finished app will run on a server as console app, triggered by a cron, the reason to use a desktop app is purely because of speed and visual representation on screen. Could someone help me in this? Thanks in advance. p.s. I am a long time Real Basic user since version 3, but didn't use the forums quite long so had to create a new account.
