Will it be possible - no matter in which time span - to develop apps for this one? Here is the link: http://www.raspberrypi.org/ I'm not trying to do something like a feature request, more like "what do you think, is there a way". _________________ Mac OS X 10.3-10.8 Windows 2000 (I know it sucks) Windows Server 2007 You want a bunch of new classes and web styles? realstudiodevspot.com (search there for Web Styles Plugin) Folderitem is too hard? I am already trying to learn some Python... _________________ Using RS2011r4.3 on Windows7. I love my RPi:-) _________________ Matthew A. Combatti Real Studio 2012 r1.2 Visit Real Studio Developer's Spot! Beginning of message: I have this one..its big enough to fit in your hand..I used it for a robot I designed since it's 'upgradable' and you can put your own memory...storage...etc ...basically a full pc in the palm of your hands..and can use upto 2GB of RAM and use SATA drives (I used a solidstate 2.5" HD with an adapter ) and a wireless dongle for wifi capability...but you could use it as a linux box...didn't even think to mention that board...didn't really make the jump since it's in a robot...and it's $98..still under $100...with an Atom 1.3 - 1.6 Ghz processor (can be overclocked too!)...think it's more worth it since its upgradable to your desired capacity (within gross limits of course ) http://compulab.co.il/products/computer ... nQodJEkAXQ This boards come a long way..used an early edition for a college science project...worked well then...and my robots still alive after 3 years puttering around the house..so definately A+ on their part... here is their full selection of computers on modules http://compulab.co.il/products/computer-on-modules/ full assembled boards (most are 'full size motherboards ') http://compulab.co.il/products/sbcs/ handhelds 'pre-assembled' http://compulab.co.il/products/handheld-computers/ -matt _________________ Matthew A. They have another option which is far more expensive than RP called fitpc. These little guys rock and the latest versions (Intense PC) have i7's. I use them for shop displays, PBX's, ticketing machines, firewalls, appliances and anything mobile. RP was designed to be as cheap as all get out so anyone could access programming and design. ARM is not supported by RS and if it was targeted I imagine it would be a while away anyhow. _________________ Regards Chris Musty Specialised Technologies Pty Ltd Software | Electronics | IT http://www.specialised.net.au ----------------------------------------------- Latest RB Enterprise (12r1.2) on Win 8 Professional, Ubuntu 12.04 Turnkey Linux Appliances on Amazon Web Services = unbelievably easy to deploy appliances. I will have to get one of the ones mentioned above... the RPi boards are great for c/python etc...and rs app do run with wine with the raspberry linux...(some limitations)...but I use the wine layer to run console apps on the RPi go specialized's route _________________ Matthew A.
