What is the workaround? Is there one? If you send something to split, do you have to test it to see if the list has endofline, space or comma or pipe, ect. deliminated? _________________ rb2011 Pro r2 Top DaveS Post subject: Re: split and endofline as a delimiterPosted: Fri Jan 04, 2013 5:05 pm Joined: Sun Aug 05, 2007 10:46 am Posts: 4383 Location: San Diego, CA here is how I do it... especially when I don't know what EOL is coming in v=split(replaceLineEndings(s,endofline.unix),endofline.unix) Windows has a 2 char EOL as you notices... Unix does not ... this will work regardless of the native EOL _________________ Dave Sisemore MacPro, OSX Lion 10.7.4 RB2012r1 Note : I am not interested in any solutions that involve custom Plug-ins of any kind Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 2 posts ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
