I would launch the App and then the App would just terminate without any warning or error notice. Anyone else having issues? _________________ Rudolph Thomas TIGME.COM Top Bob Keeney Post subject: Re: Web App TimeoutPosted: Mon Jan 07, 2013 11:29 am Joined: Fri Sep 30, 2005 11:48 am Posts: 3359 Location: Lenexa, KS I have seen this behavior with Mountain Lion. I will occasionally get into a mode where I can't debug a web app at all. At that point I have to restart my machine and then I'm good for a couple of weeks. _________________ Bob K. When I compile to Linux and run from my server it times out after a few 15 seconds. This happens when I interact with the app or when I just launch and leave the app with no interactions. What am I missing? I have also set App.Timeout = 60 App.AutoQuit = false _________________ Rudolph Thomas TIGME.COM Top Bob Keeney Post subject: Re: Web App TimeoutPosted: Mon Jan 07, 2013 12:50 pm Joined: Fri Sep 30, 2005 11:48 am Posts: 3359 Location: Lenexa, KS Are you checking to make sure there's any unhandled exceptions in the Session or Application objects? I suspect there's something going on there that might be causing it. After that, I'm out of ideas.... _________________ Bob K. After a few seconds the App just quits on my Linux Server. Although this time I also for a half second saw a message saying something like .......... unexpected token U ............ before the App Screen vanished to show the offline message. _________________ Rudolph Thomas TIGME.COM Top Akiland Post subject: Re: Web App TimeoutPosted: Tue Jan 08, 2013 2:40 am Joined: Tue Jan 04, 2011 3:02 am Posts: 1085 Location: Jönköping, Sweden tigme wrote:Thanks Akiland I Still get the same problem. The "Unexpected token.." usually means a crash of some kind. Can you run an empty project on the server? _________________ http://www.linkedin.com/in/albinkiland Dev. iMac 27" + 2x22" LG (2.8GHz Intel Core i7, 12GB RAM, 120GB SSD) OS X 10.8 REAL.Studio Web Edition 2011r3 Top tigme Post subject: Re: Web App TimeoutPosted: Tue Jan 08, 2013 5:56 am Joined: Wed Aug 25, 2010 4:04 am Posts: 71 Location: South Africa Yes I compilde a simple project I made consisting of one page and 2 dialogs and that is working properly. Where to now? Hmm, what does your app do at startup? I guess there's an Exception that makes it crash _________________ http://www.linkedin.com/in/albinkiland Dev. iMac 27" + 2x22" LG (2.8GHz Intel Core i7, 12GB RAM, 120GB SSD) OS X 10.8 REAL.Studio Web Edition 2011r3 Top tigme Post subject: Re: Web App TimeoutPosted: Tue Jan 08, 2013 8:03 am Joined: Wed Aug 25, 2010 4:04 am Posts: 71 Location: South Africa The App does nothing more than interrogating a MySQL Database. I suppose there is a few things happening but why it always takes about 15 seconds to crash is beyond me. I managed to capture this screen before the App closes. Is there a way to log exceptions on the webserver? _________________ Rudolph Thomas TIGME.COM Top Akiland Post subject: Re: Web App TimeoutPosted: Tue Jan 08, 2013 8:15 am Joined: Tue Jan 04, 2011 3:02 am Posts: 1085 Location: Jönköping, Sweden tigme wrote:Is there a way to log exceptions on the webserver?
