Posts: 22 I have moved to 2012r2. Prior to this the following
code compiled.

Dim MyRecordSet as new OLEObject("ADODB.Recordset")
LB.AddRow MyRecordset.Fields("Serno").value

This now gives the message "There are several items with this name and it is
not clear which one the call refers to".
I worked around this by first moving the "Serno" field (which is text) in a
string variable and then did the addrow.

Is there anyway that I can get the above addrow statement to work without using
an intermittent string variable as I have quite a few similar statements to
charge. For instance changing the ".value” to something that addrow would
recognise as a string not a variant.
