I probably changed something that produced this problem, but I can't figure out what, and (worse) I can't figure out how to set it back so that it works the way it did before. At present, if you use the right arrow to move along a line of code, sometimes the cursor is to the immediate left of a letter, sometimes it is to the immediate right of a letter, and sometimes it is right on the letter. If I try to edit the line, say, to remove a character (whether it be a letter, numeral, punctuation, or blank space), often a different one is removed from what I would have expected it to be. Can anyone tell me what is going on here and (more importantly) how to fix it? Thanks! Barry Traver P.S. My "best guess" is that the problem may relate to fonts (perhaps whether the font is proportional or not?), but, as I said, I have not yet found a solution to the problem.
