Posts: 54 I have a textarea textbox that has some text in it.
When I ckick on a character in the string I can enter 1 character at the point
where the cursor is but then my curser jumps to before the first character in
the string.

I know txtEnteringItemWanted.SelStart = intAA will put the curser where I want
it in the miiddle of the text string; if I can just find the correct value for
intAA.

Can anyone give me the code to find the value of intAA. (Where the cursor is
when I enter a letter in the middle of the string)

Thanks
Dave

Location: New York, NY SelStart will give you what want, but if
the cursor jumps, it means that you have code elsewhere that is changing
SelStart as you type.
