Posts: 1 Hi there. I'm using RB 2012 R2.1 on the Mac and compile
my Desktop-App for OSX (still Carbon) and Windows.

For 2 years now I'm working on a project - and was using some Icon just in
order to have one for the App. Now I'm about to deploy in the next days and I
copied in a real Icon - in all sizes (512 to 16px). And, yes, it looks great -
on the Mac (going through all sizes) and also on Windows.

BUT: when I display the program in the Finder (funny enough - as well as in
the MS Explorer) in say "standard" size (I think its 48px) - I ALWAYS get the
old Icon. Not in the dock (or the start-menu), not in small sizes, not in the
task-switcher (when CMD-tabbing) so it's not a REAL problem - but it's still
annoying.

I have tried to get rid of all the icons in different ways - I deleted only the
images and then the masks separately, I "Saved-As" the project having no icons
then added them again - all to no avail.

When I delete all the icons from the App - bang, I see the old one in the
little preview on the right side. When I double click on the Icon setting - I
see nothing but empty placeholders (or the new icons, when I have added them).
Also, when I compile using no icons - I get the old one. Which does not look
nice, when enlarged, but ... WHERE DOES MY APP STORE THIS INFORMATION?

Remembering old days (ResEdit, remember?) - I thought there might be something
with "icon-remembering" on my Macs. So I tried on a COMPLETELY NEW ONE (my
colleague just got one out of the box and I was allowed to try). Same thing.
App showed up with the ... old icon when watched in 48px size. The new one
shows all right when I open the info-window in the finder.

I'm lost. Anyone has a clue?

Thank you very much in advance,
cheers,

Jan
